I am starting a fitness program and was wondering if anyone had any suggestion for weight lifting app that can help me track my progress...

I use 5 Day Bodybuilding Workout Schedule. It gives exercises by day, number of sets and reps and explains how to do each one. It hits all of the major muscle groups and can be tweaked if you don't have access to some of the equipment.
To log the exercises I use Weight Log. You can log sets, reps, weight and it will count down rest time between sets.
Edited to add: The apps are free, too.0
