How can I keep fruit salad fresh all week?

Has anyone managed to get fruit salad to last for five whole days? I bought some strawberries last week, put them in a good tupperware container lined with paper towels, and it lasted all week with no problem at all. I didn't have to throw a single one away. I'd love to be able to make a batch of fruit salad to take to work as part of my lunch, but I don't want to have to make two trips to the store in order to do it.
I'd like to have strawberries, green grapes, pineapple (or banana), and mango. If I put some lemon juice in there and store it in a really good tupperware container, how long will it last? Are there any tricks that will make it last longer? I'm just trying to avoid throwing a bunch of it in the trash. Fruit ain't cheap!

I think the lemon juice should be enough to preserve it. if there is any fruit that needs to be sliced, I would recommend not doing that until the night before you are planning to eat it.1

Lemon juice will help but not with the banana. My dad was the king of fruit salads - really, they were works of art - and bananas always added last. He always added either a grapefruit or an orange too. The big thing would be to disturb the fruit as little as possible - whole grapes, whole strawberries, whole blueberries will be protected by their skin. Maybe go with half started (with the ones you do not have to cut) and add some others at the end.1

Thanks for the tips guys. Maybe I'll just buy the fruit, make enough salad for 2-3 days, and just keep the rest of the fruit in individual Tupperware containers so I can make a second batch on Tuesday or Wednesday night. As long as I don't have to go to the grocery store more than once a week, I'm happy.0

Suggestion on the banana in case you don't want to use a whole one at once: don't peel it; cut it in half crosswise, rub the cut end of the half you're not using right away w/ lemon juice (if you want, if not just slice the little brown bit off when you use it), put that half in a ziploc and toss in the fridge. It will keep several days w/ the peel on it. The peel will turn black, but the fruit inside will be fine.0
