Corn Pops & Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds as a kid.
I still love Puffins tho.0 -
I have a confession. I have never had Fruit Loops or Fruity Pebbles...I know, I know...Daffuq is that all about?!0
-
As a kid, I had a solid rotation of: Rice Krispies, Cheerios, Golden Grahams, Apple Jacks, Rice Chex, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honeycombs, Lucky Charms, and Cocoa Puffs.
Today: Captain Crunch Berries0 -
Frosted Flakes
Super Sugar Crisp
Quake
Quisp
Froot Loops
I've only recently discovered Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Had I known then, what I know now...it would have been a fav.
I'm also an oddball in that I do not put milk on my cereal. I eat it dry then down my milk after. Always have, always will.0 -
Circus O's... Generic, in a big bag and were the poor kid's Fruit Loops.0
-
Berry Berry Kix.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Cookie Crisps0 -
Cap't Crunch. It hurt my teeth to remember that, thanks...lol.0

I never eat cereal, but was thinking about it at the store this morning, walking down the aisle and wanted to buy myself some Vitamin King cereal...
Have breakfast with the King! I used to love that one. Looking back, I can't believe my mom bought me Count Chocula and Frankenberry. I had the Frankenberry frisbee. I tried Frankenberry again last year, but it wasn't as good as I remembered. Also Honeycombs (I think I liked it more for the records you could cut out of the box - I remember The Jackson 5 and Bobby Sherman) and Grape Nuts, which I still love.0 -
cocoa puffs
sugar smacks
cap'n crunch berries
trix
lucky charms
fruit loops
alpha-bits
frosted mini wheats
rice krispies
cheerios
apple jacks
golden grahams
You covered all the good ones!0 -
I liked Muffets and Shredded wheat (not the minis, but the big biscuits) - with sliced up fresh strawberries. Oh, and my Grandpa's favorite when he came to live with us - Red River Cereal (a hot cooked cereal.) He used to tease my brother & I that the little flax seeds in it were bugs and make us laugh.
Today I love Mesa Sunrise flakes made from corn, flax, buckwheat, quinoa & amaranth a couple times a week. Hot steel cut oats once a week
edited to add my faves today.0 -
Peanut butter Captain Crunch. MMMMM, still love all things peanut butter.0
-
I forgot to add Cream of Wheat. My mom used to make it, and I loved finding the lumps.0

And let's not forget about Life....

Yes I know, weird that this would be a fave for a kid. When shopping with mum we choose One "Special Cereal" as our own and this is the one I always went for.0 -
Cheerios. Oh man, I loved them.
Lucky Charms- those marshamllows man...
Quaker Oatmeal Squares-I used to mix them with cheerios and it was so good.
Reeses Puffs- a bit more recent but I do enjoy them.
My husband still loves to eat cocoa puffs, lucky charms and reeses puffs. Every now and then I'll have a serving as my sweet treat for the day0 -
Corn Pops. Why did they stop making them?0
-
It used to be Trix, because they were in cool fruit shapes. But Trix are for kids, and now they are just boring round puffs...0
-
Fruit Loops
Cookie Crisp
French Toast Crunch
Fruity Pebbles
Lucky Charms
Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries
O's
Yummmm, sugary goodness.0 -
All we ever bought in our house growing up was plain Corn Flakes but we would cut up bananas in it & it was heaven.
Now I love Honey Nut & Multi Grain Cheerios.0 -
When I was little, it was whichever one had the best toy.
Faves growing up:
Sugar Smacks
Sugar Corn Pops
Cocoa Puffs
Count Chocula
Honey Nut Cheerios
And surprisingly.... Grape Nuts! (but I added sugar to it, of course)0 -

I had no idea that they ever made fruit-shaped ones! Yep, in the 80s they were round.0 -
Corn Pops. Why did they stop making them?
Yep. They are no longer Sugar Corn Pops, but Kellogg's Corn Pops are available in my area.0 -

I liked these if they were nuked in the death box with some butter and sugar.0 -
Lucky Charms.0
-
Reeses Puffs. I rarely indulge in it now because it's hard to cut myself off from the box. Been wanting Cocoa Puffs recently too, those tough chocolate rocks.0
-
Loved these as a kid:
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Trix
Lucky Charms
Fruit Loops
Waffle Crisp <- Haven't seen those around anymore, they quit making?
Basically all the sugary stuff, which means I don't eat it anymore.0 -
I was also a fan of the high fiber Wheaties! I preferred the frosted ones since they were sweeter. I think it was because my dad ate them and I liked to copy him. Cocoa Krispies is a close second though!0
-
"Quisp" and "Freakies" and "Pink Panther Flakes"...even liked "Buckwheats"!0
-
Cut out records! Thanks for the flashback!0
