This is the stuff they should've been playing at the 80s retro run on Saturday. Some of the stuff they played was too current.

I'd like to comment, but I haven't got time to read through the thread and see if any of my favourites are already listed! Love the 80s!0

Lloyd Cole and the Commotions - Perfect Skin. I've literally woken up to this man's voice every morning for the last two years. Unfortunately it's in the form of a cd and not real life. *sighs*0

Holly and the Italians was the original artist for Tell That Girl To Shut Up, but Transvision Vamp did it in 1988 - and well!0

Huh..the version I know is Holly and the Italians. Wonder which one's the cover? Title is somewhat unusual so I doubt they're two different tunes..
Same song, I just like Transvision Vamp's cover better.0 -
Hmm..not sure what you mean by "too current". This one just barely slides into the 80s itself..1988. Or do you mean they were flat out playing 90s grunge because of being clueless about the "Decade of Greed"?
They were throwing in 90s Top 40. Whuh?!0 -
Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.) - Anthrax0
