    Thanks everyone :)

I am glad that i can finally see a change.. 34lbs is a lot if i actually think about it but when i compare it to what i have left to loose (103lbs) it seems like such an insignificant amount :-/

Still.. progress is progress and i feel a whole load better in myself for it! :)

any weight loss is a success if it's improving your health, you are half way to what i have lost and by that time my blood pressure had dropped considerably, my fitness had improved considerably just by losing that weight so you would be too.

Keep it up and you'll be even more suprised over the coming months

Don't forget that from the figures you have quoted you are 25% closer to your ultimate goal than the day before you started the journey.

You could have sat at home & not changed things but you, unlike so many other people, have chosen to fight the battle. That takes will power as well as realising how far you have come & congratulating yourself on the achievement so far but the determination to win the war.

    Congratulations...

    Thanks everyone :)

My first goal is to get down under 200lbs.. 43lbs to go!

I was looking back through my weight losses (i have kept track of my weight in one way or another since i was about 18).. and i can say that i am now the lowest weight i have been in 6yrs!

I am still annoyed at myself for putting all the weight back on though.. Between the age of 16 and 18 i had managed to get down from 17stone to 11stone but then put it all back on and then some by the time i was 20!

Congrats! Quite an achievement - lots of sweat and self-control! Don't focus on how much weight you want to lose, but rather how much weight you have already lost! Fantastic job - you will achieve your goal. Remember: The body you get by achieving your fitness goals is as important as the person you become by achieving your goals.
