T25 ane Insanity

I am wondering why when doing T25 or Insanity you don't lose much weight? I know people that have done both and haven't lost much weight at all. I know the program is really intense I just don't understand why you don't lose much weight. I am starting T25 soon and would like to know what I am in for. I would like to see the scale move along with inches. Is there a better way to do this?

I've just started on T25 and I cannot imagine anybody not losing weight with it!
I guess as you do it home you have to rely on yourself to push yourself. If you don't push then I presume you wont get the losses you desire x0 -
Ashley, I have read several post about T25 reading that people lost inches but not much weight. I also know two different people that did Insanity and only lost inches and not much weight. I am wondering if anyone else had a different result. If you type inT25 in search in Community you will read lots of people lost inches but not much weight. I am with you, I can't imagine not losing weight with the program but some people don't.0

Were these people healthy already? I know that on the diet I do I am told to focus on inch loss as muscle weights more than fat... so 10lb of muscle will take up less space hence the inch, but not the weight loss.
As I am blinkin' massive however... I am focusing on the weight loss ha! x0
