Frustrated - for years

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me as I am so desperate for what to do next, or at least know that I'm not alone. A little about me: I started getting very heavy in my early teens and began the weight watchers program. I was extremely dedicated and careful every single day and lost 55 lbs by the time I turned 15. I am 26 now and have lost about 8-10 lbs through the years since then. I am still about 12 lb from my goal weight. I have always kept the weigh off, never gained it back and have truly learned healthy eating habits. The problem is these last 10-15 lb are killing me. I am 5'7" and 155. I have a lot of extra "flab" that mostly bothers me when undressed so people find it difficult to understand why I am so worried about my weight. I think my body is in a shell of what it could be because I lost so much weight at such a young age. I have essentially struggled with weight my entire life.
I admit, I didnt follow the program as intensely every single day after I lost the initial weight. But I still fought hard every day to maintain, and in the last year I have really wanted to shed the remaining weight once and for all so I have been strict again. I've tried switching it up with other diets to get results - paleo, protein shakes, no carb, etc. Nothing works lately and the scale won't budge. At the end of the day I am just hungry and frustrated that my efforts to control all my cravings do nothing for me. I know I'm much closer to a healthy weight now so it won't come off as quickly but I feel so defeated! Even 5 lbs? I'm constantly around people stuffing fries in their face who are half my size and I'm eating fruits and chicken breast, staying heavy.
All the calculators/stats I use from various tools online tell me to eat about 1600 call/day to lose the weight, but it doesn't seem to work. I know a lot of you might say to work out which I definitely want to but I never needed to before to see results. I am trying to relocate closer to a gym/trainer but I would first like to address why my diet is doing nothing. Is my metabolism screwed?
Thanks for any advice. I'm just so frustrated being deprived every day with no more results.
Thank you again.

Start a weight lifting program. For me, it has made a difference. I was eating fewer calories previously and running a lot with no change. I've started a lifting program now and I'm finally losing inches.0

Simple---Work out and exercise. You're missing half of the things needed to succeed. Exercise does way more for you than just help you lose weight. Read up other credible places and get and understand of so many of exercise's benefits. It will open your eyes and amaze you. The younger you are, the easier it is to lose weight...and that holds true over your lifetime. You always have to learn new information from good sources---not just opinions on here.0

Train Train Train.Hit the weights.I weight train 5 days a week for an hour and a half a day,I don't do any cardio because I don't need to because I train hard.Log everything you eat and eat about 500 calories under your maintenance requirements and you WILL see results0

It's totally true: you can lose fat on simply a caloric deficit, no exercise needed.
However, going for a jog, or even a walk, can make the whole diet thing so much easier. Cardio and weight training are great for burning calories and staying under your daily goals, as well as speeding up your metabolism and looking good!
Whatever you choose to do, remember that simply eating at a deficit will only burn fat. No muscle growth whatsoever0
