I joined up here @ 2 years ago. I got serious at the gym, with my food, and really my whole life in January 2013. No, not a new year's resolution, but what does that matter?
I'm 48 yrs old, 5ft 8in tall. I work out 5 days a week. Minimum 1 hour of cardio. I am just now getting back on the weights since November. My goal used to be under 200. I've been stalled at 220-225 for about 6 months, and I am stepping things up in the gym, and cutting my calories back to 1600. Honestly though, it has to be something I can live with so I think another 10-15lbs is doable and maintainable, but not sure after that.

I am healthier for sure. Amazingly, though diabetes and other crap runs in our family, I don't have it. My "numbers" ie blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, etc. while not "healthy" were not way out of whack either, but now they are down to that of a young healthy man. A1C is good, normal BP is now 165/60, heart rate at rest is @70, Cholesterol normal.0 -
