I'm asking for a friend. Anyone have recommendations for a good lifting routine for someone who isn't still a beginner?

Madcow's Intermediate or the Texas Method are my favorite intermediate programs (they're pretty similar)
For the volume crowd, Korte's 3x3 or Traditional Block Periodization (Sheiko's training templates are block periodized but people act like they are their own program for some reason)0 -
Fail- forgot about the Texas method.
damn. Good call.
also - the 20 rep squat program- that's a 6 week program- not for the feint of heart.
Squat variation program apparently fairly brutal too.
if you are after some squat-centric programs.0 -

Agreed, go to bodybuilding.com and it will allow you to search for an intermediate workout for your gender. Lots to choose from. (okay several).0 -
For a mix of power and hyper, PHAT is good
if you're on a cut and want something intense, Shortcut to Shred
For power, definitely either Madcow or Wendler.0 -
