It would help by telling us what you've done to try and lose weight. Then we can throw some ideas your way.

Hi! I'm 44 & definitely notice that the weight does NOT want to come off like it did when I was younger. It's a challenge!

For women it is much more difficult to lose weight when we get up in age. My problems losing started when I turned 50. I never had so much frustration just trying to lose 1 pound! I just keep trying by measuring everything I eat and drink, plus walk , walk, walk and walk more. I have found that for me, I have to cut way down on carbs and up the protein. You can friend me if you want and I will support you on your journey.

    I will be your friend

I am 44, been a heavy weight all my light. Lifted weights and been in good shape most of my life.
9 years ago, got married, then had 1 child then another..
Then noticed the FAT F*&K in the mirror a few years ago. Never been able to get rid of him so I stopped looking at him.
That is not a good thing to do.

For me, watching cals.does not doing it.
I like to socially eat. I LIKE TO EAT AND DRINK.
I am a good cook. Very good acutally.
From home make chicken wings, french oinion soup, honey'd hams, making cookies, rice cripsy squars and cakes with my boys. YOU NAME IT I MAKE IT AND EAT IT.
    SO.
This is my THIRD kick at this.
I AM REALLY FEALING IT this time.

First, I watched, FAT SICK AND NEARLY DEAD. I LOVE this.... what ever you want to call it.
Then I bought a Breval Juicer the next day it made that much of an impact.
Then 2 plus weeks ago I started with ONE meal replacement of just juice.
Mostly Veg replacement. Fruits are not the replacement you want.
Then I and my lover have moved to two replacements per day.
First weekend on this I TREATED myself ot a restaurant Buger and felt like CRAP. BUT IT WAS MY TREAT. I still laugh.
This weekend was Easter, so I ate much less then I would. But was still WAY over stuffed.
THe really cool thing is my stomach has shrunk.

So, with the juicing replacment I CAN make it, I can watching my CALs. I also upped my cals to something more manageable.
It somehow was set to 1400.. Too low for me
I am running with 1600 and feeling for the most part good.
I ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE I AM WINNING this time.
But ONLY with the juicing replacement.

    Couple Pluses
MY Lover does not have to make Breaky or Lunch. I DO IT as it is MY thing.
I WANT to succeed at this.

    Friend me if you want.

I have not touched on my work outs.
10 years ago, 3 miles a day, three sets of three on one muscle group, two muscle groups.
Chest Back, Bis Tries, Shoulders Legs..

    Now, NOTHING.
A Bow Flex, Gazelll glider, a situp machine, a machine weight system, and elyptical. Gathering dust.

Getting up early like I would be working out but making juices instead. At least it is getting me up.

    Cheers.

I'm 46. It seems that I have to work out twice as much as the younger crowd. But, I love it. It feels good when you can out perform someone half your age.
