very tired from exercising

sometimes i get very tired from exercising and i feel a little nauseous or get crampy, today i tried to wait an hour after eating a light snack but still exercised

i tried to jog on the treadmill for 20-25 minutes,1 deg incline

5 minutes on 4 mph
then over the next 20 minutes or so, i did about 4 rounds where i increased the speed to 6 mph for 80-90 seconds at a time, then went back to 3 mph after each interval
the first two were ok but then i started feeling really tired
i had to go back down to 3 mph because at 4mph it would be too muhc

is this normal?

yep! ive been drinking enough water
usually i think 4 bottles lately
and sometimes i eat fruits like oranges and grapefruits which have water content
i bring one with me to the workout too

if i exercise at a lower intensity usually i can do it longer
e.g., last week i was on the elliptical for 2 hours and i felt fine and could still jog a bit at a slow pace like 2.5-4 mph on the treadmill for a little longer (although after that my feet felt a little stiff, but my body still didnt feel that tired)

Can you take a break from machines, and try some free running? Tell us if you're still feeling the same?

Stop running and start walking at a comfortable pace. Then slowly add back running, but at smaller intervals, like 3 minutes walk, 1 minute run, and do not worry about speed at all. Once you are comfortable with this routine, start increasing running times, by 1/2 to 1 minute at a time. Do not focus on calories burned or speed, and do not consider walking as "lost" time. Also do not use incline when running, not at thsi stage.

I get bored and tired on a treadmill but can go forever outside. Try getting outside in the fresh air. And invest in good running shoes...they make a world of difference.

You are doing too much, too soon. You just joined this month, so I assume that you just started exercising. It took me a month before I could run one mile without stopping.

Slow down, do more walking, jog slowly until you get tired, walk, repeat.
