I had my mom take my pictures today. I am soooo ready to see a change....

But folks, it is too soon to ask for some moral support? I changed my goals on MFP to reflect the challenge (2 lbs per week) and my exercise (5 times per week) and the net calories dropped about 300 calories. I'm a bit stressed since I have been really struggling to stay within the former goal that was closer to 1800 calories. I am looking forward to hear everyone's tips and suggestions for low calorie nutrient dense snacks because I am sure going to need them to stay within the new 1500 range!

What about aiming for 1800 and just add some exercise. I always had my goals set at a pound per week and with exercise lost more than that. If you're just starting out, I don't suggest starting so low in calories. It is discouraing and I personally don't think I could have made such a big jump. I started out at 1900 (MFP suggested it) and then gradually decreased it every five pounds lost or so. And I lost 10 pounds a month for the first three months. Now I am still aiming for one pound lost per week (1560 calories) coming from food and hopefully another pound or half pound from exercise. Just my two cents! Good luck!

thank you so much for your response! I could definitely move more and leave the numbers the same because I was getting nervous and we haven't even started yet! I love working out and I do have time in my schedule for it so I think I might just go back to the goals for 1.5 lbs a week and then add in more cardio. THANKS!

Good for you.....:-) I agree with response to you. Even though eating is 80 percent of it, the exercise help us when we are not perfect. Keep up the good work!
