Daily Fat Goals

I'm struggling with balancing my calories and fat. I'm consistently under my calorie goal but easily hitting my daily fat goal of 40 grams a day. I'm eating a lot of vegetables but will have salad with one tablespoon of olive oil, nuts and even hummus sometimes. I've reduced my sugar and white flour / rice intake greatly. Should I increase my daily fat goal? I know nutritionist will say that it's important to have fats in one's diet and it can actually help you to lose weight but I'm just wondering what's realistic.

iam not saying for you but for me i been at 45gram fat + almost everyday and from my experience i never got fat but instead build some good muscle tone ... it sound like your eating healthy fats so i dont see that as a prob .. going over a few grams might not hurt you0

There's nothing wrong with hitting or going over your fat goal. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I look at my fat intake and go "Hm. Interesting" and then I forget about it.0
