Some of my go-to snacks include: hard boiled eggs, string cheese, carrots & hummus, apples and peanut butter (or PB2 if I'm trying to save calories), Greek yogurt, and beef jerky or turkey jerky.

Ants on a log!! (celery with peanut butter and raisins- fun to do fire ants on a log- use craisins)
Or what I've named bananas on a plate- rice cakes with a thin layer of peanut butter and sliced banana on top SO YUMMY

Most protein bars are around 200 cals. Just watch the sugar.

I divide nuts up into 100 calorie baggies so I'm always prepared with something quick and portable.

I keep tasty smoked turkey or ham in my fridge and roll up a few pieces with a little mustard for around 50-70 cals.

Black bean hummus seems to have less calories and more protein (and more spiciness!) than regular hummus. I dip things like raw sugar snap peas in it.

    The usual reply...

Do you just mean 'low calorie' by healthy?

    What are you goals?

What macro nutrients do you have not enough of/too much of?

Healthy for one person can be massively different to another.

My 'healthy snack' earlier was an entire 900ml tub of the expensive (on offer) carte d'or ice cream.
In my situation, that was 'healthy'.

My favorite is tree nuts. I get little snack bags of almonds or pistachios.

My goal is weight loss. I don't seem to be getting enough of anything, I.e. Protien, fat, carbs. Am usually not hungry until about 3-4 in the afternoon and just need some "choices" for snacks. Does that help?
