How many days a week do y'all go to the gym? I try to go 6 days and usually take sundays or a Friday off. Curious to hear how other people do it!

I ditched the gym membership. I live next to miles and miles of trails. I also have a bicycle and a mini home gym (elliptical, free weights, squat rack, Olympic weights). I do cardio 5-7 days a week. I want to get to lifting 3 days a week.0

I actually only go to a gym 2-3 times a week, depending on what my running schedule is.0
-
Right now I shoot for 4 or 5 days a week.0

Once a week at the m ost now that it is Summer. I row/spin and run or powerwalk mostly. I have my own equipment at home and a slew of DVD's so I may ditch the gym altogether here really soon.0

I workout anywhere from 4 times a week to 10 times a week… (with some of these sessions being stretching, cardio, hiking, swimming, strength training, playing sports, or whatever)
How much and of what depends on what I am trying to accomplish, the intensity and length of the workout, and my ability to recover.
You can work out quite a bit if you recover properly.
If you don't recover properly, then even 3 times a week will be a waste…
I would say 5-6 workouts a week is above average and a realistic great amount of time!
Although; Less more consistently is where it's at…
If you do a lot for 3 weeks, and nothing for 3 weeks… No good.
If you do a little every week, for the rest of your life… Real good.
Recover properly, and do what you must to remain consistent.0 -
I go everyday for cardio and take Monday & Tuesday off. ....but if it's nice outside I will ride my bike or run. I haven't start back lifting yet.0

5 days lifting and cardio, and 1 day just cardio.0

I take classes five days a week mixed in with some weights and cardio on my own. As the weather is nice right now I like to get outdoors and hike and run stairs. So in all total I workout out 6-7 days a week.0

I don't go to the gym but work out 5 days a week. I usually keep the weekend free except for stretches and walking.0 -
Zero.
I lift weights 3x a week and do zumba 3 or 4x a week at home0 -
I live in a small town, & we only have one workout place & it isn't that great. I do aerobics at home for 45 mins. 4 times a week. It’s hard to work it in sometimes where I work a full time job, run errands after work, come home & take care of family & so forth, but been hanging in there so far. The only annoying thing at home is I sometimes get a lot of interruptions during work outs.0

Currently six days. Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 60 min cardio; Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for lifting.
I'm getting ready to start a work challenge that will put me there on Sunday as well.
Good times all around.0 -

Cardio 5-6 days a week, lifting 2 days, 1 low intensity/rest day. But I'm just starting out, so I'll probably change it up soon.0

I lift 6-7 days a week. Sometimes I'll do cardio a few times a week.0

I am at 6 days a week currently but with the nicer weather I will be doing my cardio only days outside. I will continue to lift weights at the gym 3 days a week.0

I work out every day, 2 days a week its twice a day (weights in a morning, running club in an evening). If I have any niggles or am overly tired I'll have the occasional rest day (usually one or 2 a month where all I do is a walk or bit of gardening).
Mon - cross training 35mins
Tues - weights am (30mins), running club evening (1hr - around 5-6miles)
Wed - cross training (35mins)
Thurs - weights am (30mins), running club evening (1hr - around 5-6miles)
Fri - cross training (35mins)
Sat - Park Run (3.1 miles, 30mins)
Sun - Long Run (90-120mins, 9-12miles) or a race (10k or HM)0 -
I go every second day, and do 30 min cardio 30 min strength training0
-
4 at the gym lifting
2 additional days of cardio - either at the gym or outside depending on the weather (fair weather cyclist!)0 -
Workout 5-6x's weekly at home. Alternate between running, DVD's, treadmill. I love the Fitness Blender workouts on You Tube.0

I workout 5-6 times a week. I do HIIT at home 5 days a week and then yoga or cardio (running or jump rope) over the weekend if I feel I need to or if I've had one too many treats that week.0
-
I go to boot camp or boxing class 5 days/week (Mon-Fri). On Saturday, I do an at-home workout. :-)0

I mostly do body weight exercises so I don't really need a gym, although, we do have a small gym at work with mostly cardio stuff in it, a few KB's and weight machines. Usually I do a HIIT routine and integrate the KB's and machines into the routine 3-4 times a week during my lunch break, I do like to hit the elliptical machine twice a day. I also coach soccer 3 days a week in the spring and fall and baseball in the spring too; I workout with the teams I coach as well (when I can, I recently sprained my knee). And until recently when I sprained my knee, I was running on the beach stopping at the halfway mark and doing a quick HIIT routine before heading back.0

Currently try to hit the gym at least 4 days/wk. I usually warm up with 15-30 on the treadmill then do suspension training Tues/Thurs and weights Monday / Wednesday. I will also walk for about an hour / night when it's nice and get out for long (10km +) hikes at least one day of the weekend (weather permitting)
With summer coming up I'll be a lot more active on the weekends and evenings than I have been. I maintained on about 1700 (gross) all winter and have just switched back to NET 1440 for the summer.0
