I'm 5'3... I usually eat around 1600 on rest days and anywhere from 1800 to 2100 on my workout days.0

5'4" here, and most days I'm about 1,600 - 1,700 calories and loosing. I eat more on workout days. I have a sedentary job, but I've been making sure to get my duff off the couch a little bit each night to get in some activity, even if it is just a walk with the dog for 30 minutes.0

I only lift 5 days a week for 45-60 mins. Pretty heavy stuff though. Cardio is 20-30 mins total for the week if I'm good. I didn't get to this high of calories over night; I've worked hard over the years to build my metabolism up and put on muscle. I have a higher than average amount of muscle mass for my size than many women thus my higher metabolism. (I am 34 yo, 5'2 135lbs with about 18% BF) Some do workout hours upon hours in order to eat more and really that back fires in the end. Just know you have complete control over what your body does if you want it.0 -
I walk most days of the week. 20 minutes on weight-training days, 30-45 minutes on the other days. I weight train 3 times/week for about 45 minutes. I also do abdominal work.0
