NO CAKE.....get some nice chocolate covered strawberries...or a beautiful potted floral plant....jewelry....card....a movie night...do the house cleaning for her...breakfast in bed.....take her to the park...take her fishing......be creative :-) I'm a mom, and well, this is a fitness site....I would want just about ANYTHING but cake from my husband on Mother's Day.

I did the chocolate covered strawberries for her birthday earlier this year. We were driving near Smith Island and saw a billboard about their famous 10 layer cake. She commented she had always wanted to try it.0 -

I say...go big or go home. I mean..you are already paying a fortune.. 9" isn't that much bigger so go all out. I'm sure she'll love every bite of it. And she can have it for a few nights I'm sure. That looks delicious and I came here thinking the topic would be waaay different.0
