Is Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut butter actually healthy?

I know nutella is FULL of sugar, and Justin's seems healthy from the ingredient list. Anyone research this and have some feedback?

Honestly, from what I can see on the Nutrition lable, its not really the best thing for you.
Given that 2 Tbsp = 180 calories and that the overwhelming majority of them are from fat and sugars, I'd say that it isn't exactly nutritious.
That said, if eaten in moderation, it won't hurt your body transformation0 -
How much of it are you planning to eat and does that fit your calorie and macro goals? Asking whether a particular food is healthy in isolation from your overall diet isn't very productive.0

I wouldn't call it healthy, but its at least a little better nutritionally than nutella. For starters, it does not have hydrogenated oil, and it has a bit more protein and less sugar, but more fat. I guess it depends on what you're going for. Jason's also contains almonds. If you have an almond allergy or don't like almonds, then don't get the Jason's. I've also read reviews that J's separates.0

Who cares? It's freaking delicious. I am hooked on that shiz.
Straight almond butter has a better macro/micro profile (for me, anyway), and so does Justin's chocolate almond butter, which is tastier than the hazelnut stuff IMHO but sadly hard to find in stores. All are good sources of omega-3 fats and reasonably rich in several useful minerals - iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium. None is a calorie-efficient protein source - calories to grams, they're about like frozen yogurt. But I eat frozen yogurt too.
They're also calorie-packed. Great for someone who needs to gain weight... Possibly challenging for someone aiming to post a deficit. Definitely important to weigh it... It's pretty easy to down 400 calories' worth or more in a couple minutes without even realizing it.
Justin's butters do separate a bit after a few weeks if kept at room temperature. I've never met a natural nut butter that didn't. So I use my spoon to stir it up before I nom.0 -
Sounds like it's not unreasonable, but I'm not missing any hidden things from the ingredients. I'm looking at it mostly for my kids (2 and 4yo) for on the go snacks, say over grahm crackers or with apples/bananas. Thanks for the input!0

Hazelnuts and cocoa? Very healthy. Sugar is fine, don't get too worked up about it. I eat probably two TBSP of the stuff a day to help me meet my fat macro.0
