I am in after having cyst on my ovary I gained almost 10lbs, but have lost about 5, but I still need to lose more.

Joining for May - I have a lot to lose but 5 pounds is a good goal. I'm 60, have knee pain due to cancer meds, and have a sedentary job. My goal for May is to get more active.
Cardio 3 times a week

I've been at this weight, which is very high for me, since Christmas. I've had a lot of stress and depression, including a death in the family and have engaged in hardly any physical activity. I still don't know if I'm up for reducing calories, and I hurt my knee so I can't walk or run.

I've been fluctuating the past couple of days so I need to get some of this excess water weight off (which I think has happened because of a LACK of enough fluids, plus wine tasting this weekend -- whoops)! Time to make May as productive as April was! Woo hoo!0 -
Sorry, you'll have to excuse me, I'm late on checking in. I didn't see a place to edit my original post (I'm still fairly new on the boards)... so I'm making a new post and hoping that's what we're supposed to be doing, lol! Feeling a little discouraged because when I originally weighed in, the scale showed a one pound increase despite almost six days of exercise. Turns out, I must have been holding water because I weighed this morning and that pound is gone. Still, I've lost nothing, which is astounding because I've stayed at 1,500 or less calories (MFP says I need 1890 to lose 1 lb./week) and, like I said, worked out nearly everyday. The week before, I lost three pounds and only did one or two workouts.
