Sack o' potatoes

Got your attention, huh? LOL!

I lost 5 pounds. Don't know about you, but I love visuals. So when I went food shopping I picked up a 5 pound bag of potatoes and carried it with me while I shopped. That thing got pretty heavy after a few aisles! I was happy to go back to the produce section and leave it there....both figuratively and symbolically!

I plan on doing that again when I hit 10 pounds....although I am sure I'll get some odd looks as I try to shop while lugging around a 10 pound sack o' potatoes!

But seriously, that visual really helped me. 5 pounds may not seem like much, but try doing what I did and you'll realize how much better off you are without that weight!

Good luck!

Great idea! Kind of reminds me of the Biggest Loser episode where they wear backpacks filled with the amount of weight they lost. Congrats on your weight loss!

I use butter...not that I carry it around that store..but to visualize 1lb of butter...x5 or x10 or x50....it's not about the weight of it it's about the actual size...
