So this is awkward haha.

I'm now starting my second week of walking 6 miles a day and today I decided to do intervals of jogging and now my butt muscles kind of feel amazing/ weird. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. It's not a bad feeling just wondering if it's normal.

when I walk long distances (an hour or so) my thighs feel amazing. To describe it; its almost like I can feel my heart beating/ pushing blood in my veins

edit: sounded less creepy in my head

One time I was running and I got a butt cramp on the side of a busy road...I tried my best to hobble someplace more secluded so I could massage it out and keep going!

    Talk about awkward.

This is called "the pump". Here's Arnie explaining this sensation - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzI-UQ-JsaQ.
