Apparently I need to step up my game! My meals look nothing like these.0

Dinner: cedar planked trout fillet with dill and lemon, grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. The funky pink slime is a dill-horseradish sour cream my fiancé made to go alongside, but our horseradish was mixed with beetroot so it turned pink. It was still delicious, though.

[img]http://i.imgur.com/HMdB2t5.jpg for the first time, i made dinner for my family!! this was a wonderful recipe i found for chicken meatballs, completed with a side of asparagus![/img]0

i used to make this recipe almost once a week, but i realized recently that i hadn't made it in probably a year or two. it's my veggie tortilla soup recipe, except i used crushed tortilla chips instead of corn tortillas. they kind of dissolve and make the soup incredibly thick and hearty. tortilla chip soup i guess. i put seitan in it this time for the extra protein and belly filling power and it was around 350 cals for 1 1/2 bowls. without the seitan it's closer to 230 i'd say. i topped it with queso fresco and chopped cilantro. good stuff.

Looks yummy and spicy. Adding seitan seems like a Nice idea.0

yeah it has a lot of seasoning: chili, adobo, mexican oregano, cilantro, annato - tasty southwestern things :]0

Porkchop marinated in pineapple juice, paprika and chilli, salad, bread.
Chicken breast cooked in the slowcooker with Cranberry/ BBQ sauce. Contentor for the 'Ugly but good' badge.
Same chicken stuffed into mushrooms and baked with cheese (for lunch the following day).

My dinner was super simple, just a chicken teriyaki stir-fry with basmati rice.
