Water Retention help

Hi everyone! My husband and I just recently came back from vacation. We ate horrible foods and consumed alcohol, etc. I know I gained some but feel as though its a lot of water retention as well. What are some quick and healthy ways to help speed this up other than increase water intake and exercise:). Thank you!

Time and not consuming those same foods for a few days. Or anything else that can dehydrate you like caffeine.0

Plenty of veg!!! Especially asparagus, which is in season, and I recently found out is a pretty good diuretic. And of course lots of water and watch your salt intake. Can really make a difference on the scales, if you're into monitoring that.0

yes, the scale was quite depressing this morning! haha, but I know what all I ate and if its a true measure then I know what did it
. But it was a bar food, baseball games, beer kind of few days that I loved but definitely feeling icky now. Just bloated and tired and a bit swollen (fingers, ankles).

Alcohol does that to me, I don't drink much but yes, feel toxic on a monday if I've had wine at the weekend. I'm learning about what salt does to my body regarding fluid retention. Seems to make a real difference. If I have a particular dress to get into or a special occasion I want to feel good for, I'd sooner watch the salt intake for a couple of days than starve myself....0
