Just a little tip for an easy lunch as long as you have access to a kettle

Get a kilner jar

get extra fine egg noodles
a 500ml jar will hold half a nest (about 120 cals)
a 750ml jar will hold a full nest (240 cals)

grind them up quite small to make them little noodle sizes
Add finely chopped veg of your choice ( add tiny pieces of spring onion, mushrooms, mangetout and baby corn)

Add cooked meat of your choice (I add the finely diced meat from half a roasted chicken thigh)

Add flavouring of your choice
I sometimes use a miso soup sachet with dried chillies
or Chinese chicken curry concentrate

add a teaspoon of cornflour

take to work as a sealed pot of dried niceness!

add boiling water at lunch time give a good stir and seal the lid to allow it to cook (5-10mins or so, release the steam every and then)

Makes a great convenient and healthy pot noodle that you can flavour to your choice

I might take one on a picnic next time with a thermos of boiling water

I would have posted a picture of my one I had today but I don't know how to add a picture!

I have the 500ml size but my husband (who is not watching is weight) wanted a bigger more manly one and uses the 750ml size!
