external motivation is great but the true motivator IS WITHIN U! u will always have urself second guessing yourself...not wantign to change...thinking your old habbits are the only way to live....this is truly the hard part is changing your current thinking of food and how to handle and make yourself stronger to over-come these obsticales consistently!!!
friend me if you;d like and ask any questions0 -

I'm in the same boat and can totally relate. I started logging my food intake on Monday of this week and have decided it's time to get this done. I have come close to my goal weight a couple of times only to let it get out of reach yet once again. This time is going to be different because my attitude it different. No more negative self talk, logging daily and working out are my plan.0

I eat with every emotion but my biggest is boredom0

I am exactly the same! I just finished finals and during exam time I totally lost any motivation that I had. I am most definitely a stress/emotional eater (as well as a boredom eater) and my goal for the summer is to lose 30-40 lbs! Annndddd I've been doing terribly. In 2 weeks I've worked out maybe 4 times. I want to do this for real this time!0

I eat when stressed and when I am bored. I guess that is emotional Please add me!0

I'm definitely an emotional/stress eater. Stalled out after at least a 30 pound drop (wasn't tracking before then, but I know I lost weight months prior since I fit into airline seats better). Looking for supportive friends to keep me on track. Looking to lose 40 pounds by the end of summer. Anyone is free to add me.0

Trying to lose 46lbs (according to google ) I don't think I'm an emotional eater? It's just so easy to say I'll eat fruit and veggies and healthy stuff when m full and then I get hungry and it all just kinda.... seems painful /; but anyways, feel free to add me anyway0

I am right with you.0

my goal is to lose 60 and i've lost 23 so far, i guess what works for me is to just be mad and use that as fuel to get through my workouts, already i've noticed gains in strength, stamina and most of my clothes no longer fits me, i too was an emotional eater but i guess you have to find external modes of motivation, for me i look on to my favorite comic book characters (yeah I went there) and that helps motivate me, i guess you just have to find out what works for you to get through this but it is possible if you are willing to put i the work because believe me its very very hard work0

Hey there...add me too! I'm right there with you! (Anyone can shoot me a note) I'm actually working with someone to discover my "emotional" issues with food. It's crazy interesting! I've realized I just want someone to take care of me...the way I take care of others. Also, I've realized that....there is more. I can share if you'd like :-) Hope things start to happen for you!0
