well, I'm kinda freaking out, I have changed my entire life style to lose weight, I have lost 32 lbs in the last 42 days, but I have hit a plateau over the last two weeks where I haven't lost any weight at all, but my close are still getting looser( down 3 pant sizes)but I need to see the # get smaller, too. I don't know if it is because I am not eating enough or if it is because I am doing more strength training or what, but yeah....totally freaking me out and taking some of the wind out of my sails, which is messing with my motivation...oh and I am taking a lot of supplements

You aren't at a plateau. Let me repeat, you aren't at a plateau. It is common for anyone who has lost a great deal of weight, which you have, to hit a place where the breaks are lightly tapped and weight stalls. If your pants are getting looser and looser it means you are retain water but fat is coming off. It takes ages sometimes for a scale number to change, especially for losing 32 pounds in 42 days. The scale will change eventually just give it time.
If you don't mind me asking, why are you taking so many supplements? Don't you get enough nutrients and vitamins in your diet or are they the other kind of supplements?0 -
I'm thinking OP is joking. I really hope so.0

First calm down and realize that you don't have to lose weight this quickly. By my calculations you were losing a little over 5 lbs a week and weight loss experts highly recommend that you don't go above 2 due to health complications and other side affects from dropping weight so quickly. Also, to sustain that kind of weight loss you must be on a super intense diet / workout regime which teaches you nothing. What are you going to do once you reach your goal weight?
Slow down, adjust your weight loss goals not to exceed 1-2 lbs per week and eat something. This is the time to develop weight loss techniques and habits that will keep you thin for the rest of your life.0 -

You lost 32 lbs in 42 days and the wind is now taken out of your sails?
Congrats! You are 1/2 way to your goal. I suggest you change your frame of mind as slow and steady wins the race when it comes to a lifestyle change.
There will be some posters soon who will ask you to open your diary so they can take a look and try and help. Good Luck!0 -
If you're doing strength training/lifting weights, then you need to remember that muscles weighs more than fat, but takes up less space. I know that getting to a healthy weight is important, it's what brought most of us to this site. But maybe you should shift your focus. You've seen quick success on the scale, but isn't the goal to be healthier and to feel better? 32lbs in 42 days is a bit fast, but it happens that way for some people. I wouldn't say you've hit a "plateau" if you're still seeing results, i.e. you're fitting into smaller pants now.
Try not to let it get to you that the number on the scale isn't changing. Remember that it's just a number. Try viewing your drop in pants sizes as a win. Obviously, whatever you're doing is working.0 -

Weight loss isn't linear, there will be times that your weight won't change but your measurements will and there will be times that neither will change but that doesn't mean that there aren't still positive changes taking place.
You mentioned that you're doing more weight training, it's not uncommon to retain more water when you start a new more intense training program, this could also mask your weight loss. If this is the case, it will usually go away after a couple of weeks depending on the program, your body and dietary factors.
Lastly, check your caloric intake. If you've lost 32 pounds then you'll need to adjust your caloric intake downward accordingly as your TDEE will change with your lower body mass.0 -
