About what size do you think a 115lb girl would be?

I have a friend who is about 5'4... 5'5 and is super skinny. 125lbs. She wears a size 0. I also have a friend who is like a 4'11, and 130 she wears a size 5. If I'm about 105-115 about what size do you think I could be? 3? 5?
I know it's different for everyone, but I just kinda want an idea of what I could possibly be.
I HATE being a size 12ish...
I'm about 5'2 by the way

Either 0 or 20

Depends on height, body frame, body fat percentage...Two people can weigh the same and look completely different. The scale number doesn't tell the whole story.0

I'm 5'3" and maintain weight between 115-118lbs. I wear a size 4 jeans and xs/s shirts. It all depends on your body.0

Have you see this thread? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1283044-135-vs-135-4-size-difference
You can be 3 different sizes just from different brands. Do what is best for your body, not an ideal pant size, since they can vary as it is.0 -
he he, I was about to post a link to the same thread  It is a great example of how weight and size do not always correlate.0

I'm 5'1 and hover between 112 and 115 right now and wear a size 6 or7 pants Sometimes a 5, but I think my hips are pretty big there is no way I would be able to fit into a size 2 or a 0. It depends on your frame size and how your body carries the weight. Just keep going measure yourself and focus more on how stuff fits. Just go till you feel comfortable.0

Sizing really has changed. When I weighed around 115, I was a size 7...back in the late 80s. As I crept up into the 120s, I was 9/10 and even 11/12. I'm 5'1". Now, at 179, I'm in 14s for the most part, the occasional 16, depending on the cut. A size 0-4 would be under 110 at 5'1" in my experience, but I guess the sizes really have gotten bigger over the years?0

Depends on your body fat %.0

Oooo! Oooo! It's a riddle!! I love riddles!!
Ok. Ok. Ok.
*thinks*
GIRL #2 IS ACTUALLY GIRL #3'S SECOND COUSIN.
Amirite??!?!
No, wait.
How old are they?0 -
Is it just me, or does this sound like a very young person's question?0

I'm 5'7". When I was 125 lbs, I was wearing a size 4. I'm 135 now and wearing a size 6. That said, I have 3 kids, so like another poster said, my hips are permanent, the bones are not going to narrow back down no matter how hard I work at it, so the chances of my ever being a zero are low.0

Not sure how anyone's giving you a size. It depends on height, body fat % and body type.
I was in a 7/8 when I was 115 and used to wonder why shorter, heavier girls were in 00s. Lots of factors at play in sizing (including brands themselves).0 -
size 4. b/c I've been that.0

And where you shop0 -
Honestly it depends on body type and size. Ignore the numbers and go by how you feel you look? I'm 5'5" and weigh 158lbs, wear a size 14/15 jeans and XLg top. One of my friends is 5"5", weighs 172lbs and wears a size 8 jeans and medium top. I carry my weight in my hips and breasts, she carries hers in her tummy... you wouldn't think it makes that much of a difference but it does..0

Body composition matters too. Are you fat, lean or buffed?

Stop worrying about a number on a little, tiny tag on your clothes. If they look good on you then that's the size you should wear. If you have a muffin top when you button your pants or they're sliding down your butt then that's the wrong size.0
-
The biggest factor is going to be body fat percentage. Two people who weigh 115 lbs could have very different body compositions. Someone who is more muscular is going to be of a smaller size than someone who still has some body fat.
The other big factor is frame size. If someone has a larger frame they are not going to fit into a 0 or a 2 no matter how low their body fat percentage is. They might be able to get into a 4 if their body fat percentage goes lower than what is recommended for their gender, but that is not healthy.
(Yes, there are some companies whose size 6 is going to be different than another company's size 6, but for this post I am talking about clothing sizes within the same company.)0 -

oh i just noticed you asked 3 or 5. yeah you could be either. i was 3 when I weighed 115 at your height for like ten minutes in high school.
i also just noticed you are mackenzie. you were on my FL with another mackenzie name. you were eating too little and your body type might not make you so tiny when you diet b/c you were actually pretty well built as I recall. you had the best figure.
try to forget about the number in your pants label. and try not to compare yourself with your friends. i knkow its hard but you have to break this habit NOW, for your own sake.0 -

if i remember correctly she's slightly buffed in her lower half.0 -

she is very young as I recall. like 18 she claimed in the past.0 -
It honestly depends on your body shape/composition. When I was a teen and weighed around 120 lbs (no muscle!) I was a size 8, because I have a bigger butt. But I'd most always have to get my mom to take in the legs and hem them up so they'd fit me properly.0

First, like everyone says, pants size is highly variable and it shouldn't be a number you obsess over.
Second, I am 5ft 1in and I weight 130. Body type is a huge part of what your pants size is. I am 100% pear-shaped. My thighs and butt are the biggest part of my body and my waist is really tiny and jeans are always loose at the top. Part of this is body type but also I have good thigh muscles. :^) While I wear an xs/s in all shirts, I wear a size 5 in boot cut jeans and a size 7 in skinny jeans from target.
Working out makes a huge difference in how your clothes fit too!
Good luck, don't give up. Keep at it!0 -
I'm 5'3" 118 lbs and a size 6 - but I have hips and thighs0
