I'd really like to lose 10 but who am I kidding? I'm having a hard time getting motivated even though the weather has been so nice!! Hopefully this group will help motivate me. And 5 lbs is doable! I always set my goal to high and set myself up for failure. Good luck everyone!!!0 -

Yay! Back to moving in the right direction! I'm doing 2 monthly exercise challenges and have slacked off the last few days due to tailbone pain. I think I aggravated an old injury doing situps. Boo! I also found out, the hard way, to stay clear of Rita's Water Ice's milkshakes. I took my daughter there to try a water ice and decided on a Peanut Butter Milkshake for myself. When I got home and logged it, my eyes almost popped out my head. If I had planned for it, it wouldn't have been a shock.
Something new I tried: I've been getting vinaigrette dressings at the grocery store with a fruity addition (like pomegranate or raspberry), and I also bought a ton of greens this week (romaine and spinach). When I crave something sweet, I make a salad with my fruity dressing. Being a vinaigrette, if I watch the other ingredients, they are generally low in calories and a little goes a long way! It's been helping to curb my sweet tooth and I am getting in a bunch of greens and other veggies. The bonus is that strawberries compliment those dressings, so I can add them to my salad for an extra bit of sweetness!
@mmbarnes1973 - It's never to late to start! I've been shy of my goal the last 2 months on these weight loss challenges. I decided to not be so hard on myself and just celebrate the lose and not focus on missing my goal.0 -

Slow and steady wins the race, right! I have not seen the 130's since I was in high school 20 years ago, I am so close I can taste it! First I messed with my TDEE and then spent close to two weeks without exercise and crap eating while studying for finals. My finals are this weekend. Hopefully I can undo my negative loss next week.0 -
