5 feet and 1200 calories???

I know theres been a lot of talk about needing the 1200 calories per day, but I am wondering if I really do need 1200 calories. I weigh 130 and am only 5 feet and have a desk job, then go home to my small apartment so I don't move around much unless I work out (which I try to 5 days a week of 30-60 minutes). And I know if I work out then I know to eat those calories burned. Any insight as to if it's okay to lower my daily calories would be appreciated. Thanks!
