Wanting to lose about 100lbs, looking for support!

Hi, my name is Lilly. I am starting to get serious about weight loss and healthy eating. I am already down 4lbs and my goal would be to lose another 101. Anyone else in the same boat? Anyone accomplish this the healthy way? I'm looking for some motivators and awesome friends to help me get to my goal!

Hi! I'm trying to lose 105 lbs, and I'm down 6 lbs (yay!). It sounds like I'm in the same boat as you. I want to lose 100+ pounds, and I definitely need some serious motivation. I'm eating healthy and losing weight. Although the tooth fairy's evil twin, the Sweet Tooth Monster, tries to get me all the time!0

I am in the same boat!! Luckily I can cook so I make all of my meals at home and if I get the Sweet Tooth Cravings, I normally eat some Vanilla or honey Greek yoghurt with some sort of fruit in it to curb that craving. Or I chew a piece of fruit gum! Can't go wrong there! haha.
But If you're looking for some recipes... Check out my blog! I recently started it and post a recipe every day/night of what I made that day for dinner and they are all Low calorie, but still good for you!

Feel free to add me as well, I'm looking to be a little more active on this site as lately I haven't. I will give you my quick background story. Been heavy my whole life, I remember being 175 at my lowest in JR after Jenny Craig, 5 years ago I have lapband surgery. It took me approx. 14 months to lose 100 pounds then I had a regain of 20 pounds, it took me forever to lose those 20 pounds again. I lost my father and I let old habits creep back in and I used food for comfort again. I got back on track and lost the 20 pounds and another 15. My lap band is great it helps me feel full when I'm eating right, but it doesn't control my brain. I still want and desire and eat chips, cookies, ice cream all things that slip through my band. Every single calorie I consume I have to account for my band doesn't do anything to deflect that I don't mean to sound pro band or pro surgery but some tend to think it isn't as hard when you had surgery and it is. So those are my two cents, please feel free to add me anyone else as well0

the 100 lb number seems too big right now. I'm just focusing on 10% at a time so all my goals are set to that 10% weight loss. for me the key is getting my head right about why I'm overweight in the first place. i believe this is key to LONG term success in not gaining the weight back.0

PLEASE ADD ME - ugh. Every time i try to lose weight I seem to gain it. Hoping that friends can help - especially those just starting - I've gained 3 since joining here - but just getting going is great. I exercise a lot but eat WAY too much. Trying to eat more fruits and veges and try yoga as a way to stop eating too much....0

My overall weightloss goal is 100 pounds but my short term goals are 10 pounds at a time. I have lost 25 pounds so far since January and have hit a plateau. I am returning to MyFitnessPal (been about 30 days) to get encouragement and accountability friends.... I didn't know it offered so many features since I only used it for a little while about 2 years ago.

In January I started aiming to lose at least 110 lbs. I started at 310 and now I am down to ~258. Almost half way there!
It was hard to change habits but I can tell you it is worth it. In general I feel better than I have in awhile. Good luck!0 -
Hi, I'm in the same boat with most other post. I need to lose about 100 as well. I feel that documenting what I eat is so helpful to the weight lost process and I try to see what others are talking about often. The support is awesome. I've been having some difficulties but I finally now feel like I'm on the right path.0
