Has anyone (closely following MFP) lost more than 10 lbs in the first five weeks..if so how much? Just curious.

Yes, I think in my first 5 weeks, I lost about 12lbs.0

Im at 4 weeks and lost 7 lbs0

It's really going to depend on how much you have to lose in the first place. If you have a significant amount of weight to lose, you'll lose it more quickly than let's say, someone who is working on the "last 10lbs"0

I lost 16, but that's mostly because I joined the Biggest Loser at my gym and I was eating properly and working out about 6 hours a day.....7 days a week. It was tough but it sure worked! Probably not a lifestyle that anyone could keep up for long though.0

How can you work out that many hours and get enough calories in?0 -
I only lost 3 lbs my 1st 5 weeks,but I did lose over 40 inches. Turns out my sodium was keeping me fat!0
