Great thread ladies!!!
I'm 5'11.5 and 48 years old. I am currently 249 pounds. My current goal is to hit "onederland" by my birthday at the end of September. My ultimate goal weight is 170. (at this point) I would love to add friends with similar stats so we can track each other's progress and stay motivated. Please feel free to add me!0 -
I'm 5'11 and was between 150 and 160 at the time of my current profile picture I'm guessing more towards the 160 side, don't really remember when the picture was taken.0

I highly recommend checking out http://www.mybodygallery.com/ . You search based on height and weight and it shows you a variety of women who are also that height and weight.0

I am 5'11" and started at 210 (actually more but I won't admit to it). The photo above is 10 lbs heaver than I am today. This morning I weighed in at 163 - 3 pounds away from my initial goal weight. I no longer care much what the scale says - I just want to be as fit as I can be!0 -
Let's try this!0 -
I'm so happy I found this thread! I am 6'0 tall, my heaviest was 215, I am now at 197. My current goal is set to 185 but overall I would like to be 170-175. I never liked the way I looked when I was in the 130-160s. Too skinny for me. Hopefully I'll have some pictures posted soon. :-)0

'511 and I deal in kilos but I looked up the pounds and 140 pounds is 63 kilos which is perfectly doable and acceptable for someone who is that tall. I used to be 63kgs (140 pounds) and that was working out 4 days a week, and was def not underweight anything less than 58kgs (130 pounds) for that height is considered underweight on the BMI scale.
So here is my advice keep going at loosing weight but add in weights if you have not already so when you hit 140 pounds you wont look weak and too skinny you'll be strong and lean. Also muscle weighs more than fat so you might end up being 150 pounds but look like your 135 pounds.
Right now im 67 kgs (147 pounds) and I want to get to 63kgs and im going to ramp it up in the weights department as when I was 63 before i looked amazingly skinny but lost muscle due to too much cardio and the weight was to oeasy to put back on.
So that's what i think anyways I think if you have strong muscles its harder to put the weight back on and you'll look healthier, So
just keep going and see where your body takes you. Also Ive seen girls the same height as meat 60 kgs and they are ripped look really strong and fit and ive seen girls the same height weighing 5kgs more looking just as hot, ripped and lean. It really depends on how you body reacts to it all.0 -
This is a great topic! Really interesting to see the other tall ladies and their goals. I currently weigh 190 (around 200 in my profile pic). My goal from the moment I stated has always been 180. Now as I'm getting close to it I need to think about if I'll stay there or continue.0

I am 5'11" and currently 231 lbs......My goal is 155/160. I have a large frame and that would be my lowest weight. Sorry no pics. Yet...:flowerforyou:0

so glad I found this post also! If any of you "tall" girls would like to be friends as we are on this journey, I would love that.
I am 5'11, and started at 214, I am now 198. My ultimate goal is 170, but ideally, I would love to get to 160.
I am 63, so the weight comes off much slower.

I'm 5'10 and I once got down to 137 - I looked WAY TOO SKINNY~ to the point where people were asking if i was sick. I would say you should start your maintenance phase and weight train. I weigh about the same as you right now and I'm happy - I have maintained this weight by losing fat and building muscle - i look thinner but i weigh the same. 140 is probably too skinny for you.0

I am 5'11" and before kids I hung out around 135 when I was training for a run and 140-145 when I was just working out and running a few times a week. I am now 158 and I would like to get back down to 145-150. I have a med build. Right now I feel like I still have fluff so I know what you mean.0

Hi I am 5'10 - my profile picture is me 73kg's which is 160 pounds. My lowest weight ever was 151 - too low for me - I looked ill.
It's all about size and dimension - I am a big bird...not long and limb like if that makes sense0 -
I have the exact same goal! I am 166lb and aiming for 155 to start I am 5 foot 10 Best of luck :flowerforyou:0

Hey ladies,
I've been in the process of losing weight for the past ten months, and Ive lost almost 60lbs so far! I'm 5"11.5, started at 227lbs and i currently weigh 168lbs. My original goal weight was 140, but Im no longer sure that would be right for me, considering my height. Could you tall gals post some pics accompanied with your weight so I can get a realistic idea of what looks good on taller women. I know we all have different frames but this would be so helpful. I'm just so confused about where to go from here, now that my bmi is in a healthy range.
I am 5' 10 and big boned. I don't have the "curves" and I am pretty straight up and down. My doctor wants me between 165 - 175. When people find how much I really weigh they are kind a shocked because they think I weighed less. I just called it compacted weight. I know I have always felt better at about 165 -170. I want to feel "good" not just "skinny". I have 14lbs to go and I already feel better.0 -
Hi,
height is 179cm (5ft 11.5)
CW 75.5kg (11st 10) approx 19.3% body fat
LW 69.9kg (10st 13) 15.5% body fat (way too low on calories to maintain this!!)
GW 73kg 18%
My frame size would b considered large. Wrist size is 7.5 inches0 -
I'm 5'10" and about 180-185. I can't figure out pics but this is a link

I'd honestly only like to lose about 10 more pounds - 15 at most. I started at 289+
Still definitely a work in progress in the midsection0 -
I'm 5'11 & 166, trying to get to 1550

It TOTALLY depends on your muscle mass. You can't go by a 'weight', you just have to go by being healthy and where you feel good. I am 5'10" and I was WAY too thin at 130. I am happiest between 150-160 but it really depends on each individual person. I carry most of my weight in my hips, butt and legs, so when I drop below 150, I'm too boney on top. Weights help with that by building up my upper body muscles tho.
GOOD LUCK!0
