I can finally wear shorts without feeling extremely self conscious, and/or without doing the "funny/crooked" walk to try to minimize them riding up in between my thighs, or constantly tugging on them to bring them back out of my crotch.

I can run in short sleeves without getting a horrible rash from "brush burn" on my upper inner arms.

These two are actually HUGE things that I only discovered recently! :drinker: Congrats to everyone on your small and large losses!!! Every little bit counts!!

-saw family I hadn't seen in a year and they were shocked by how much thinner I look
-went down a couple notches on my belt
-being in the 160's again (whatttt!!) haven't seen that since freshman year of high school (2007)
-the stares I get when I go out on the town ;)
-sex is so much more fun (I try to make it a second workout)

    1. Found out I went down another pant size this weekend. LOVE going into the dressing room and then having to say "oh these are too big, I need a smaller size."

    2. Went for a walk in a dress on my lunch hour last week when it was warm and my thighs didn't stick or rub together when walking!

By far feeling better about myself which led to working harder in the gym - which led to getting recruited onto a competitive kettle bell team - still stunned but working hard toward competing in the US nationals in Aug

After my C25K run on the treadmill (W1D3) I still had 12 minutes on the timer because I had to start it over halfway through. I decided to try to jog for 5 minutes at 5.5 mph because last week I did 4 minutes and felt like passing out afterward. At the 10 minute mark I started my 5 minutes and it was easy, at 5 minutes I decided to finish the 10 out and I did! I'm asthmatic and don't have an inhaler anymore so I'm training slowly, but it's really paying off. I wasn't even out of breath.

My tights are wrinkling around my ankles and I have to keep pulling them up. Think I need to start buying medium instead of large!

My most recent NSV is my profile picture. Nailed my Butterfly! It wasn't that long ago I was struggling to even climb the pole. :)

Had to wear a belt today with the jeans that were skin tight two months ago. Also bought new running shoes yesterday - the first time I have ever actually worn out a pair of sports shoes.

Today I received a nsv from a 6yr old. She asked me if I was working out, I said yes and she replied, "you look really thin"

Being able to wear any pair of my jeans and not having a muffin top.
Fitting into a smaller size dress in time for my best friends wedding.
Going to Old Navy and fitting into a medium shirt without feeling like a stuffed sausage :)

I bought a pair of pants 2 sizes smaller than I typically wear! Not sure if it's because of vanity sizing, though lol. Also, I was able to help my Dad move around heavy furniture and he was impressed

Had to put all of my size 16 jeans in the give-away pile...they all fall off my now size 12 behind:)
Kicked the treadmill's *kitten* today by jogging at 5.6mph for 20 minutes, then finishing my 1/2 hour jog off at 5.5mph...not a big deal to accomplished runners, but a big deal for me:)

    - Woke up and felt sexy
    - Had a workout buddy tell me she was jealous of my hour-glass figure

    And my biggest one:

    - Had my husband tell me he wants to start losing too because I inspired him!

NSV for the day -> 10 minutes on the stair climber this morning and enough energy/stamina/wind left to do another 10 minutes on the treadmill at a 15 incline at 3.8 mph!

    ETA:

    Biggest NSV so far - January 2 BP -> 142/95, May 1 BP -> 118/67

    Finished my first triathlon Saturday.
Shopping in regular stores. Right now I'm rocking a Liz Claiborne dress that shows off the fact that I now have a waist. :)

    1. From workouts: I've fractured my elbow a year ago and had a partial bone replacement and ligament repair. Still haven't gotten my range of motion back, but last week I noticed I don't have pain in it anymore!! I got so used living with pain that didn't even realize how working out made my range of motion better, and I don't have pain at max extension/bend )))
    2. From calorie counting: About a year ago I bought an expensive dress without trying it. Of course I couldn't possibly be too fat for that dress, but I was. I haven't had time to return it on time, so this morning I was preparing a donation and felt so bad having to give away the dress. So I decided to try it for the last time, and it was loose on me!!! I woke up everybody in the house, including my dog, because they had to know! ))
    3. From both: I'm off antidepressants and never felt so great!

    55 days - 16 lb ))
