    write out an entire response, reread it and then decide it's a) 'not worth it', b) 'too stupid for words', c) 'will most likely get you kicked off the site' or d) 'enter your reason here', so you just click back to the forums without actually posting your response.

    I seem to do it about 1 out of every 4 times I hit reply.

    Anyone else do this?

      Quite a bit, because by the time I articulate my thoughts, get them typed out, and get ready to post... then same thing has been said a half dozen times!

      Sometimes I write out a whole response, hit the wrong key and delete it by mistake. Then I decide it's too much trouble to rewrite the whole damn thing. Unless it was a perfect and beautiful response, then I rewrite it. Usually then it gets lost in a billion responses and no one ever sees it and I'm tempted to copy it and repost it at the end of the thread.

      This time I didn't need to bother with a thoughtful response because somebody would come along and say exactly what I would have typed. Sure enough, there it is!

      I must be slow to post replies to games. By the time I look at a post and go to reply to the last post, someone beat me to it. So then I have to edit my post if I want it to make sense. =)

      I generally start out with a helpful, insightful, well meaning post and delete it in favor of a gif.
