by how many pounds does your weight flactuate per day

This morning I weighed 12st 4lb, but this evening I weighed myself after my work out and I was 12st 7. I checked my home scales as they were 12st 7lb too. Both are digital scales. I haven't eat that much today. In fact I haven't even had dinner yet. I've been drinking a lot of liquids today. I've had about 4 cups of coffee today, with sweetner and tiny bit of semi skim milk and I worked my butt off at the gym. I had a really good work out, even my mum says I look thinner after my work out. I sweated a lot and drank a fair amount of water. I usually only go up by 2 pounds at the end of the day, not 3. My body fat percentage has gone down a bit; yesterday I was 32%, today I'm 31.6%. I checked and apparently it's healthy. I think I've lost a bit off my hips but not so much from my waist which is odd as ive always had a small waist. I'm 31 inches round the small bit of my waist, is that big? I'm around 41.5 inches round my hips. My period may be due so I dont know if that's caused my weight to go up during the day as well. By how many pounds does your weight flactuate during the day?

I have "gained" as much as 4 lbs in one day (weighed myself at 5 AM and again at 5 PM).
My weight fluctuates up and down by 2-5 lbs throughout the week depending on if I had a carb-heavy day, a sodium-heavy day, if I lifted weights... that's why I only record my weight once a week, usually Friday or Saturday.0 -
it's been by as much as 5 or 6 pounds (thanks sodium and booze) but is usually around 2 or 3. i rarely weight myself for just that reason.0

I take no notice of my weight other than first thing in the morning but occasionally I'll step on the scales before getting in the shower at night out of curiosity and it sometimes goes up by about 6 or 7 pound. It means nothing.0

Quite a lot, actually.
In the morning I could be 138lbs...
After 3 meals, I'll be 145lbs.0 -
I typically fluctuate around 2lbs a day.
It just depends what I eat, especially if it's particularly high in sodium.0 -
Here, you can see! I have been keeping a daily log of my weight loss journey...

day to day, 3-5 Lbs...but if you're weighing yourself throughout the day, keep in mind that you are consuming food and liquids...these have mass and thus weight. If you eat 1/2 Lb of food, guess what, that weight doesn't magically disappear just because you swallowed. You're also creating waste...which also has weight. You have to remember that the number on the scale is just that...and it is made up of many different things, not just fat.
I would highly suggest you don't step on the scale multiple times per day...there is really no reason to do that and it would appear that you are already having issues with this.0 -
I track daily, but I only really care about the average of the last seven days... That number tells me if I am consistently moving down.0
