hello I am new and a bit stuck can someone help me please?

Hi this is my 3rd day on my fitness pal and I am a bit stuck.

When I enter my daily food on the tracker a vast majority of it are carbs. The carbs outweigh the other nutrients.
according to the chart the maximum I should be eating a day is 236
my total protein should be 159 a day
total fat 63
looking at it on the pye graph it doesnt look very balanced. Should I be eating more protein and less carbs? If so how do I change the amounts on the nutrient guide. I hope this makes sense?

    Your diary is closed so we can't see what you're eating, but if you are eating mostly carbs then you need to try and balance your macros (protein, fat and fibre) as per MFP guidelines.

    The MFP protein recommendations are actually pretty low so it would be advisable to try and meet or exceed that goal.

    Fat is also essential in the diet for various hormone regulation systems, to transport fat-soluble micronutrients, etc.

    ETA if you want to change your macros you can do this by going into setting and using the 'custom goals' option. A commonly recommended balance is 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbohydrates.
