Newbie here looking to start over in more ways than one

Hi everybody!

I joined this site sometime ago and never put it to use for whatever reason. Just seemed like too much depressing work. Counting calories, weighing and measuring my lack of progress (as you can see I was quite negative) I just didn't see the point. I've already been overweight for years but recently due to horrible stress and not leaving my home I've gained 30. Ugh. But for some reason I feel optimistic about my weight loss future. I start school in August and hope to cut my weight in half before then. I see this site is a community, which feels weird to just jump into an ongoing conversation, but I'm here! :flowerforyou:

    Good for you...... I am only on my second day but am finding the app useful already as it showed that I haven't been eating enough protein. Just remember, you deserve to be happy.......if that means losing a bit of weight then go for it........you deserve it, even if it might be tough now and then. Best of luck
