Does anybody know about the Galloway method. It looks like a promising method to run long distances but how does it work for a person who naturally runs at about 13:00 minute miles. Wont the walk breaks slow the pace down way to much? I would love do to more runDisney runs but they all have a 16:00 pacing requirement.

This is the method I used to learn to run. I found with the walk break, my running pace was faster, so overall it evened out. I would absolutely recommend this method to train for long distance.0

You'll likely find you're faster if you take walk breaks. I am. And, it helps prevent injuries too. The walk breaks help maintain better form.0
