Tips on losing the last 7 lbs

Can anyone please offer some tips on losing the last 7 lbs.i started my journey Jan 7, 2014 and so far I've lost 14 lbs. i feel like the closer i get the harder it gets. I'm currently 5'2 127 lbs and usually i walk/run/jog at least 3 miles 5 days a week- i also do strength training 2-3 days. i want to reach my goal by Aug, which is when my husbands deployment ends. thanx in advance

    Set your goal on MFP to 0.5lb per week. You'll have a 250 calorie deficit so being accurate with your calorie counting is important. Weigh all your food on a food scale so that your logging is accurate. Continue to lift weights and up them as you go along.

    Small calorie deficit (like the .5lb a week goal suggested above), strength/resistance/weight training and patience.

    And if you're not already, grab a measuring tape and start tracking that way too - I found that the closer I got to goal weight, the less the scale seemed to move, but my clothes were still getting loose - tape measure showed me losing inches even when the scale showed "no progress".

    I've been trying to lose these last stubborn 10 lbs myself so I also took others advice and changed my goals and also my macros to 40-30-30. Good luck to you !!

    Getting that last bit of weight is tough. Really eat according to your nutritional goals. Keep on getting in your exercises. If you can, focus a bit more on the weight lifting. Building muscle really helps to boost your metabolism and drop that last bit of weight.
