100 Burpees a day challenge

Challenge is for FITNESS.

Some will have just a tough time trying to get to 100, but that should be their first goal.

Then once you can do it NONE STOP, try reducing the time it takes you to do it.

Do it for 30 days and see how you progress.

    That sounds awful to do them straight through, I have done a workout that included 100 burpees, 100 situps and some running that I timed myself. I think I need to try that one again and see if i can better my time.

    I also did Crossfit for a month....happened to hit the 7 minutes of Burpees WOD....only got 72

    now thats a challenge

    theres a youtube video of some guy doing a mile worth (4 times around a track) of burpees. every time he jumped, he'd jump forward. it was his 30th birthday present to himself. hope he enjoyed the unwrapping lol

    i'm in crappy shape now, but even at my best, i don't think i could do 100 non stop without building up to it.

    Do 5 and do 20 sets of them throughout the day. You'll see the payoff in the end.

    6 minutes and 20 seconds. Although I didn't do a push up on the way down (didn't actually know you were supposed to do that until I looked it up) and I only jumped for the first 50. Will attempt again with better form.

    100 Burpees is one of my favorite workouts! Gotten as low as 10:18 but can't seem to break the 10:00 mark.

    I love/hate you for suggesting this because it's so straightforward and good for me that I can't think of any good excuse not to do them. Gonna try to start tomorrow...with the whole 20 sets of 5 throughout the day approach, ha.

    The love/hate for burpees is part of the reason for the challenge! Hate 'em when you do 'em, love the results!!

    I hate time measured in burpees. It's like dog years only in minutes. Every minute of burpees seems like 7 minutes of something else. I get enough of them in CrossFit that I am going to pass but wanted to wish everyone luck in getting their burpee on! :)

    When you get done with this, google burpee pull up and you will be very sad like the day you learned Santa wasn't real.

    My first set 20 on the pace of 12.5 minutes. I have work to do.

    Anybody hulky enough to do the 100 weighted?

    On average that's 10 burpees in 45 seconds. IMO, that's slow. At least for me.:laugh:

    I do push up, jump pull up so I feel your pain. Another one is AZTEC push ups. Brutal. I can do maybe 6.
