    ideally you should have some fuel in your body when you work out, but try to eat at least 1/2 an hour before so your body can start the digestion process, that way you actually use the fuel you eat, otherwise you could finish before the food really kicks in (depending on how long you work out).

    I exercise about 9 am every morning. I only really have slim fast in AM and this I drink like on the way to the gym
