How to post ticker and make diary public

Hello, looks like MFP has made some changes and I am wondering how to alter my ticker (change starting weight mostly) and how to make it appear at the bottom of each post. Also how do I ensure my diary is public?

    For your diary go to settings>diary settings> scroll down and click public

    your Ticker go to your profile page under your ticker "add to your site" then there is an area that says forum settings
