I feel so guilty

I didn't go over my calories, in fact I have five left, but I feel so guilty about the sweets that I had today. I had a cookie with my subway, which I felt I deserved because I took a long bike ride. But then for the rest of my calories I had a serving of malt balls. Why! Why did I have those? I'm glad I didn't go over my calories, but I am sure using them up with junk food isn't good. I had planned on just having a glass or two of fat free skim milk to use the rest of them up.....grrrrr, the dumb decisions we make sometimes.:noway:

You did much better than I did today...two snickers, Lay's baked and original chips and a lollipop. And I didn't even exercise. :ohwell: But tomorrow I'm getting back up on that wagon and keep on keepin' on.0

Soooo...... maybe start carrying around some fresh fruit instead of Malted Milk Balls (a personal fave of mine too!).0

Don't beat yourself up! It happens. And it's great that you didn't go over your Cals. Eating healthy is important and all, but sometimes we just need a treat!
Just try and remember this for next time. You'll do better. :flowerforyou:0 -
Don't feel "guilty"...Drink a few glasses of water, jog in place for 10 minutes, and refer to it as "naughty" instead.0

It's my boyfriend's fault, he brought them home. I love them, they were calling my name:laugh:0 -
Hey you stayed on target with your calories. To me that is what is important. Tomorrow maybe do a little more exercise. Don't be so hard on yourself! Look how much you have already lost!0

Hey, It could be worse...I had homemade ice cream at a back to school social. I didn't know it had over 500 cal. for one cup...went way over my calories today. Tomorrow is a new day though, we'll be ok. Good luck tomorrow!!0

Hahaha  I feel like that sometimes when my siblings bring home or buy something I love but that I KNOW IS NOT GOOD for my progress.
But don't beat yourself up about today or it'll get you into that "oh well, i don't see any results anyway" mode. And that's not good, just realize your error today and do better tomorrow. Take things one day at a time you know? It's my third day on here and day 1 and 2 really let me see all those stupid snacks (animal crackers, gummy bears, jolly ranchers) I was eating wasn't doing me any good. Though I'd come in under my caloric requirements (my sugar would be way elevated), and as you said, they're not helping. But just knowing that for today and not repeating the mistake tomorrow is good enough. Good luck with better days and remember that once in a while it is okay to treat yourself. I usually do once a week but only for one meal, one snack!!0
