This is a great recipe that I can make for me and the kids for lunch, they will love the idea of having pizza again, and I will love that I can eat it with them. Thanks for posting it.0

No problemo guys. I was so excited to find this! It's got to be the easiest pizza recipe I've ever seen. I never would have thought to use a tortilla shell. I think I might stack two tortilla shells and put some sauce or something between them because i fear it will be a little thin with the tortilla shells I have, but I hope it tastes as good as it looks!0

So I just made this today. I used one Mission White Corn Tortilla shell (6 in), Market Pantry Tomato Sauce, Oscar Meyer Pepperonis (4), and a shredded slice of Kraft American Cheese (I didn't have any shredded cheese so I had to use a slice). It was pretty good. It tasted like a Lunchable. I put it in my food diary and it only has 168 calories the way I made it. Yay! =D0

Yum! I made one of these the other day for breakfast using a LaTortilla Factory low carb whole wheat tortilla (the large is only 80 calories). I heated it in a saute pan brushed with olive oil, until it was slightly browned on both sides, then added a little of my homemade meat sauce which had lots of chopped vegs in (zucchini, celery, carrot, mushrooms, peppers, etc.), topped it with Mozzarella and Parmesan and baked it on my preheated pizza stone at 425 for just a few minutes until everything was melted and puffy. Very good! And the tortilla was plenty sturdy to hold in my hand. No fork required!

I've made these for a while. I actually made some on Tuesday for dinner, but a little different. I use(d) (making 2)
2 mission low carb tortillas-I need to get some lower calories ones
1/3 C Kraft 2% mozzarella
4 TBS (2TBS each) pizza sauce
17 TURKEY pepperoni
Add all toppings, bake 350 for about 10 min or intill cheese is melted. Since you can't pile on the toppings, I perfer to roll mine up, makes them taste cheesier/heartier. I LOVE my cheese.
410 Calories for BOTH! Less calories than the original posted.0 -
