"I don't like vegetables" - you're a grown damn adult. Find some you can deal with.

"I'm hungry all the time and I net 800 calories per day, help."

Perhaps you should try eating more food. I hear that helps with hunger.

My sister's favorite excuse is "I'm breastfeeding"

Yeah, you may be breastfeeding and you may "need" 500 extra calories a day... but it doesn't need to come from soda, chips, cookies, and candy.

I get this one all the time, "This food just TASTES better! You're lucky you can't eat any of this stuff (sweets, breads, ice cream...)" I have really bad gluten/dairy intolerances so I always get to hear how "lucky" I am that I can't eat the foods that other people find so hard to not shovel into their faces.

"I don't have time to eat healthy/cook". Wake up 15 minutes early, prep your lunch for the next day before bed etc....some times take a little effort...an effort that is worth it.

This also goes for "I don't have time to exercise". Find the time! I bet you have time to watch a 1 hour TV show or spend an hour or Facebook

"I have to eat junk food because you don't know how to cook. When it doesn't turn out I have to eat something" ... I'd be happy to step aside and let him cook!

The girls at the my gym don't sweat and have nice bodies so I guess I won't go anymore because I'm certain they give me dirty looks and judge me behind my back with their overly made-up eyes.

 I eat light the rest of the day so I can have a big snack! :grumble:

"I only eat like one meal a day I don't understand why I'm not losing weight" Shall we get into what this one meal consists of, also portions?

"I'm too tired." Yeah, well so am I. I'm pregnant and working 12hr night shifts & also have hypothyroidism...still staying active! Even if it's just 20-30min or just walking, there's time for SOMETHING at least a few times a week!

YES! Why would you feed that crap to your kids?! Do you want obese children??
  • But I ate salad all week long....yep, potato and macaroni salad.

It's cheaper to eat out than it is to cook...in what universe?

The only exercise I like to do is walks in the mountains, so I have to wait until next summer when we go to Alberta again.

I'm not lucky like you. You have a good metabolism...sure I do....

But I haven't eaten all day. I'm hungry.

Why not instead of eating the entire bucket of chicken on the drive home to save some and eat some for breakfast for a change.

"It is too hard to eat healthy" and "I don't like vegetables"

The not liking veggies blows my mind - look, if you are hungry enough, you will eat them. Could not make it without carrots - they are part of every social event I go to.

A little whining to get off my chest: I know it is none of my business and I should not be so judgmental but how is it that some folks can eat so much fast food/restaurant food? I look at some diaries - chick-fil-a, mcdonalds, sonic, burger king, taco bell, little caesars, olive garden, ruby tuesdays, etc etc etc. Every day. Especially some of the young folks. I must be sheltered but it really shocks me and makes me a bit sad. So much good food out there - just seems like a waste. And yes, from time to time I do eat fast food and do eat out at least once a week but I just cannot fathom eating it every day.
