I wanted to see if I got the calories right for this breakfast. I'm also curious what numbers others come up with.

It consists of:
One slice of wheat toast with a pad of salted butter
Two poached eggs
hollandaise sauce
One english muffin
1/2 of an avocado, sliced
Home fried potatoes with salt and rosemary seasoning
two slices of tomato
A slice of orange
One strawberry

Here it is:

Have you plugged the individual items into your diary?

At a rough guess, I'd estimate:

    1 slice toast - 100
    butter - 35
    2 eggs - 150
hollandaise sauce - could be 100, depends how much you used
    1 muffin - 100
    1/2 avocado - 150
fried potaotes - again, depends on quantity, but say 150-200
tomato - very little, maybe 10-20
    orange and strawberry - negligible

So in total I'd guess in the region of 800-900.

If it was my breakfast, I'd be questioning the need for bread AND muffin AND potatoes.

With eyeballing the servings of some of that I came up with about 840 calories.

Looks beautiful and yummy but way too many calories, for me anyway.
    At least 800.
My breakfasts max out at 2-250.
1/2 that eggs benedict is on my list for soon.
    By itself.
    Thanks.

Yeah, the way I did it was by plugging the items individually into my diary and estimating the quantities of the potatoes and the hollandaise sauce. I agree it was probably around 850 or so cals.

But it could go up or down depending on how much avocado was on there and how many potatoes were served.
