9 pounds last month and currently at 8 pounds this month... I am about 18 pounds from where I want to be so I am sure it will start to slow soon...

Which month? Weight loss isn't a linear thing....I lost much quicker early on when I had a good deal of fat on me. As I leaned out it became much slower...which is normal.

At the moment I've lost 3 actual Lbs in about 7 weeks which is right where I should be given my current BF% and intake.

In my first month I lost 15 lbs. This is the first week of month 2. My goal was 2 pounds a week but I guess the change in my WHOLE lifestyle shocked my body during the first month. I don't expect to keep to keep this pace up.

I started May 3rd, and I'm at about 15lbs lost so far. I weigh in on Fridays, actually kind of excited to see what it comes out to in a couple days. Too bad it has to slow down!

I signed up for MFP in mid-November (after a scary doctor's appointment.) However, I didn't start actively logging food & keeping track until mid-January. During the two month gap, I lost 13lbs. From there I lost 15lbs, 8lbs, 5lbs, and 5lbs each month. Looking at the rate I'm going for this month, I think I'll have another 5lb month. It feels like a healthy rate for me (making healthy changes, but not feeling deprived.)

This thread makes me feel better! I felt like I was losing so slowly and I am being very cautious of my cals in and out.

    Jan-March 10 pounds

Then about 1-3 pounds a month after the initial loss

Somewhere between 4-8 pounds a month, weeks where i feel like everything is going correct and my workouts and eating are intense and focused seem to be more consistent in terms of results.

Mine has varied so much. In five months, it has been between 3 and 8lb.

I've lost 13 lbs this first month. I'm sure it will slow down some but I only just started into my second month of actively tracking everything.

So far, started in Feb: ~10lbs, March:~5lbs, April:~4lbs, May:~4lbs. I am NOW only about 10 lbs overweight and 22lbs to goal so I am just hoping to stay with the 4lbs a month.

In my first month it was about 10 lbs. I am nearing the end of my second month and suspect it will be about 7 lbs this month.

    28th March to 28th April: 3.6lb
    28th April to 28th May: 2lb.

I think the 3.6 was partially down to doing the 5:2 diet. When eating on a casual deficit, 2lb a month is pretty standard. However, I've only got 10 pounds left to lose until I roughly hit my target BF (7%) and I've been doing weight lifting instead of cardio like I did the previous month.

When I first started 10 to 15lbs a month, for the first year, year and half. Then went to about 8lbs and now with the last 60 to go I can't lose anything to save my life, but I'm still plugging away.

For me so far (11 weeks in) it has been fairly steady overall but I have weeks where it is about 1lbs and others 3lbs even though I am eating & exercising the same.
