I'd say it's an epidemic that we need to get under control...
Whew. Good thing that's not me. I don't really have time to worry about everyone else.0 -
That's it? What a relief. I thought it was more than that.0

That makes me feel better. What about less than 1320

What do you propose?0

That's a lie. Mine's obviously over 5000.0

You guys do know that the IQ scale is centered around the idea that 100 is the mean, right? The whole idea is that 100 is dead in the middle.
I can't tell sarcasm on the internet to save my life half the time, so if that was the joke intended, feel free to laugh at me. Can't tell if you're being serious or not.0 -
Given the posters' identities, my money's on sarcasm. It's almost as good as my local elementary school district insisting that 90% of their students are above average. :huh:0

Anyone who measures intelligence quotient is a moron.0

Ok, who here has a Psychology degree???
Oh me?! cool ok.
You can't actually know your IQ unless you pay a Psychologist who has been trained to destribute IQ tests...then you can find that out
ALSO
This thread is just not true...the AVERAGE IQ is over 100 not the MEDIAN
AND
IQs just plain suck anyway, it doesn't record other intelligence, it just gives an idea.0 -
I got my IQ score from Mensa, have to admit though high IQ doesn't mean smart or intelligent, I have many university grads working with me who don't have the brains they were born with.0

As my ex- would say to me, "You ain't got the sense God gave a goose!"0

There are different ways to define intelligence. To define intelligence solely on a number is pure stupidity....
Please do not reproduce, that's what you can do to help this "epidemic"0 -

Most modern IQ tests are developed with 100 as the mean/median with 15 point standard deviations. Since its a symmetric distribution, the mean and median are the same.
Although, to be fair, I did say mean in my post.
