Hi everyone,
I am new to this site and am looking for people to be inspired by and to be motivated with. It's hard to get out there and exercise because I am NOT a cold weather person. (I know, I live in the WRONG state!) I try to workout at my lunch hour, but can be hard, especially since sometimes I don't get a lunch. I am a single mother of three, work full time, and am going to school full time. I have put on 50 pounds in the last year and it's really taking a toll on my body. Anyway, I just wanted to say "hi" and find some new weight loss pals.
stay warm.
Melissa

Hey there Melissa, welcome to a great place for you to accomplish it all!! I live in California and still have a hard time getting out there and exercising, LOL....indoor DVD's etc are always good. I guess it boils down to how bad you want it. I"m still working on how bad I want it!, LOL, the exercise thing is my greatest challenge! Good luck to you : )0

Hi Melissa!
I am from MN too, and am also not a cold weather person. Today, I skipped going the Y because it was just too chilly to haul the kids out (since it wasn't absolutely necessary), but I did an exercise DVD. I am hoping that having some workout things at home take the excuses away from me. Good luck on your journey. I hope that you find something that works for you - atleast until it warms up and we can all be outside again.

Hi Melissa! I'm a Minnesotan too. I'm impatiently weighting for Feburary 24th, which I heard is the day where are average highs start being above freezing! :drinker: Good luck with your weightloss0
