Is that a euphemism for eating too many calories?

I work 11p-7, so I sleep during the day. I've never slept at night my entire life.

Is thos exposure to a particular kind of light? Like the light that comes on when you open the fridge? ????????????????
Seriously, presume it is linked to lack of sleep? This can affect hormones linked to fat storage like cortisol and melatonin, so makes sense

I don't know about a euphemism for eating too many calories, but I imagine that absorbing too much of the light that is emitted from fridges when the doors are opened can be quite fattening :)

humans photosynthesise now....? so exposure to light causes their cells to produce glucose which is then stored as fat....

serious answer: lack of sleep can cause excessive hunger, so if exposure to light at night leads to lower quality sleep, then maybe that leads to overeating the next day.

The light has gone on my fridge, so if I don't replace it will that help me lose weight?

Then us around the Arctic circle or in close proximity are absolutely screwed during the summer months. The sun is up all night or nearly all night.

Just don't sleep outdoors and you'll be OK :)

    Suddenly, it all becomes clear.

My insomnia is making me fat

Well, it might not be helping in the cortisol/insulin feedback loop.

Only if you eat it in 6 small meals a day

But, isn't opening and closing the refrigerator door exercising?

    Hahaha, nailed it!

I live in a village and altho I'm at the front of hte house (where the streetlights are) it's actually pitch black in my bedroom. I'd think my problems are related to all of the horrible meds I've been on for the past like, 6 years! What a bizarre thing, how on earth did they find that out?

I DO, I DO!! Well.... 'small meals' is relative isn't it?

I'm off to find a dark room and the smaller one of a 5 litre and 10 litre tub of ice cream

Watch it, you may shrink away into nothing if you do that!

You just know we will soon be seeing fridge doors that open at the touch of a button, don't you

I'm old enough to remember when you had to get up and walk 10 feet to turn the TV channel over

The weight loss will stop just as soon as someone releases a "Weight gain linked to not enough light' report

More light would be LIGHTER, surely :-p
